Summer heat changes placement
Carlsbad averages about 35 days a year over 100°F. On summer events we face doors away from the afternoon sun and add a service visit for crowds over 100.
Monsoon and wind season
July is Carlsbad's wettest month, and spring brings strong gusts. Units on open lots get staked, and we avoid low spots that hold runoff.
Riverfront events book early
The City's 4th of July "Red, White & Blue on the River" fills the Lake Carlsbad Beach area. Book Independence Day units at least 2 weeks ahead.

Carlsbad renters book with Ivan Rental Works because the person who answers the phone also schedules the truck. You get a real delivery window, a full price before you pay, and a clean unit placed exactly where you asked.

A standard porta potty for a weekend event in Carlsbad city limits starts at $175 plus tax, with delivery and pickup included. A standard unit on a 28-day construction rental starts at $165 per cycle with weekly service, plus a one-time $75 delivery and pickup charge. Your quote lists every line before you pay. See the full porta potty cost guide.
Can you deliver a porta potty today?
Same-day porta potty delivery in Carlsbad and nearby Eddy County is available Monday through Saturday when you call by noon and a unit is open. A same-day rush fee starts at $50 and is quoted on the call. Booking 2 business days ahead avoids the rush fee. Details are on the same-day delivery page.
Does the price include delivery and pickup?
Event quotes inside Carlsbad city limits include delivery and pickup. Monthly quotes show the delivery and pickup charge as its own line on the first 28-day cycle, and renewals cost only the base rate. Deliveries outside city limits add a mileage line, which we give you before you book.
Do I need to be there when you drop it off?
You do not need to be on site for delivery. Tell us the spot when you book, or set out a cone or sign where the unit goes. The driver calls about 30 minutes before arrival, and we text a photo of the placed unit if you ask.
Can you drop it off Friday and pick up Monday for a Saturday party?
Friday drop-off and Monday pickup is our normal weekend schedule, and the extra days cost nothing more. Weekend delivery or pickup on Saturday or Sunday can be arranged but may carry an overtime fee for the driver.
How often do you clean the porta potty?
Monthly and construction rentals get one service visit every week. Each visit pumps the waste tank, scrubs the interior, refills toilet paper and sanitizer, and recharges the deodorizer. Busy sites can add extra visits on any weekday.
Do you have handicap accessible porta potties?
Wheelchair-accessible units with a ground-level floor, wide door and grab bars are available for parties, public events and job sites. Public events usually need at least 5% of units to be accessible. See the wheelchair-accessible unit page for sizes and placement.
Do you need a deposit to book?
Booking is paid in full by card over the phone or through an emailed invoice, and that locks in the unit and the price. Event bookings get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 business hours before delivery. Monthly rentals bill per 28-day cycle. Read the rental terms.
